Paid Fellowship for Experienced Professionals

We founded Braven with the conviction that there are large, underserved opportunities to do good in the world while concurrently earning outsized financial returns and exponential impacts on key industries. We have engineered a new VC operating model to pursue the second, more active strategy because we believe that’s where the opportunities and outcomes can be biggest for our investors, our companies, and society.

To accomplish this, we also need a different type of team composition than the traditional VC firm. To open our doors to different profiles and backgrounds, we launched our semi-annual Fellowship program. This role is our gateway for non-traditional profiles to break into a cutting-edge, early-stage investment firm with proven leadership, providing a chance for career growth and advancement.

About the Program

The Braven Fellowship Program is a hands-on, immersive experience for seasoned professionals passionate about pioneering system innovations in regulated industries. At the end of the Fellowship, both parties can determine if the Fellow should join Braven full-time or potentially join a portfolio company they were part of cobuilding!

The core of the Fellowship is spent leading and engaging in multiple Innovation Programs that sit at the heart of Braven’s investment model and serve as the pipeline for all firm investments and/or incubations. This unique end-to-end process flips the traditional venture sourcing model on its head - we seek real problems with commercially viable opportunities first, not founder or pitch decks, conducting deep problem research to develop system-level solutions with clear economics & business models. At the last stage of the process, we engage in what we call "Cobuilding" (read more about our Cobuilding approach here)
